Location: Oxford, Ohio

Category: Structural Restoration

After 30 years, school officials decided to renovate a portion of the west stands of the stadium which hold approximately 10,000 people. Construction Services GroupSM (CSG) Restoration Division was tasked with this restoration project.

Bleacher Seating Restoration

Before work could begin Construction Services Group, Restoration Division, had to remove bleacher seats, railings and row indicators for each section.

After removing all of the obstacles and surveying the construction area, CSG Restoration Division first pressure washed the area to eliminate any dirt and to loosen any deteriorated sealant and concrete. Any visible cracks were repaired, loose sealant and concrete were removed by sandblasting and routing.

Next, all deteriorated concrete was repaired and new sealant was applied.

After applying a base coat and a topcoat, CSG reset the railings and replaced the bleacher seating to finalize the project.

The challenge of this project was the short time frame in which CSG had to complete the work. It needed to be finished before the football season started. Consistent communication with the school allowed CSG Restoration Division to finish the project quickly while keeping in line with quality workmanship.
